You will find lots (and I mean lots) of at 永久脫毛 which personally I wasn’t interested in. When it comes to lasers and intense skincare treatments I am just one of those people who prefers to get a professional to work their magic on me, as opposed to attempting to become one through getting a kit from my local pharmacy. I went to a clinic within my hometown that have recently opened for some treatments.
I visited about 2 sessions, but didn’t see any results – AT ALL. So, it was fair to say I wasn’t going to waste any more money. Strike one. FYI – I am aware people who have had treatments of IPL done (mainly all Asian/Indian kinds of skin) and I happen to be told it takes plenty of sessions to see results. I are also told by my current laser technician (and head trainer & educator of Polaris Hair Laser Removal) that IPL will not work on Indian skin and contains short-term benefits. It basically isn’t the very best laser for long term hair-free fuss.
The next occasion round, I went for any YAG laser but to my luck, my technician had blagged her distance to making me think she was doing me a favour. If in reality, her what are known as YAG laser was more of an IPL treatment then everything else. I will tell you that it made my hair a bit fainter, but nothing drastic – and I had at least 6 sessions. Once more, I wasted not merely my time in travel but a lot of money! Strike two.
For the past 5 months or so I have been seeing a lovely laser technician, who lucky for me, is located in the same county as me! I had told her each of the problems I have had in the past with laser hair removal and she provided her honest and professional advice. She explained to me that IPL isn’t extremely effective (especially on Asian skin) for 永久脫毛. It works whilst you will get it done but give it annually approximately and you will view your the growth of hair coming back. The penetration from the laser isn’t as deep and doesn’t focus on the hair follicle to the extent as being a YAG laser does.
I then explained the so-called YAG laser treatment I was getting before visiting her. That is when she did a bit digging (in her spare time) and informed me that I was missold my laser treatment. The laser which I was getting done was more similar to IPL when compared to a proper YAG laser. It had been more of a diode – basically which means that I wasn’t getting exactly the same results has I would have using a proper or should I say real YAG laser!
She then informed me information on her laser. The laser she uses is definitely the Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser by Polaris Medical. She actually is a professional educator/trainer with this laser and has been in the industry for two decades – she basically knows her shiz.
This laser can be used hair removing of hair on all kinds of skin, light to dark. One of many features of this laser is the fact that its melanin absorption is quite low. Melanin is exactly what gives the skin it’s colour. The better melanin halbfl have, the darker your skin and the other way around. Because of it’s low absorption from it, there is certainly hardly any risk of your skin to obtain damaged by hyper/hypo pigmentation. Because of this the long pulsed Nd:Yag lasers is idea for for hair removal on medium to dark skin!
I need to go with clean, lotion/potion free, make-up free, perfume/deoderant free and hair free. Yep, which means you must shave before hand (everywhere you would like to target!). This can be therefore the laser can reach the folicle without the hair strands getting in the manner.
We have learnt the tough way by accidentally having some perfume on my own neck and the laser burning my skin – luckily it wasn’t that bad (my Elizabeth Adren Eight Hour Cream sorted me out!). However, this really is common and can happen.
During Laser Treatment
Throughout the laser session, the part/s of your body are sectioned off (as you can tell in the picture above). The 永久脫毛 is used with the air-conditioning type cooling tube which can be hovered on the area of your skin because it is getting lasered – this can be so that you don’t notice the heat. The sensation of obtaining this done is much like someone poking you with a needle. According to your pain threshold and the area you may not feel it whatsoever.
